Know any websites where i can buy a cheap digital camera?

Question by Lizie: Know any websites where i can buy a cheap digital camera?
I’m looking to buy either a Fujifilm Finepix A610 or A700 digital camera, and was wondering if anyone knows of a website (preferably UK) where i could buy one from for a cheap price. Also, if you know of any websites where i can get cheap memory cards, that would be great! Thanks

Check out Ebay.com or Amazon.com

I’ve only ever gotten something through Amazon and it was in good condition, however it was only a CD.
It’s worth the shot.

I wanted a result a bit dark and gore.
I was a little disappointed with the result after taking the picture
but after a little post-processing i was more satisfied.
But I expected a better result.

Mais j’espérais un résultat meilleur.

Good film SLR camera for a beginner?

Question by : Good film SLR camera for a beginner?
I’m going to London and Paris this spring, and I’m interested in taking some film photographs when I’m there. I’ve heard nothing but bad reviews about the toy film cameras that you can buy, and I was looking for some possible options for a solid beginners film SLR camera, and maybe some tips to start using it! Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by Jim A
That’s correct, the toys are just toys.

Canon and Nikon make excellent 35mm cameras. But since most on line sites that I’ve seen no longer carry them, shop a good local camera store. They can help you more than we can.

DSLR Camera Comparison Nikon or Canon?

Question by canyonhiker: DSLR Camera Comparison Nikon or Canon?
Looking to purchase good beginner DLSR camera, no previous lenses, starting from scratch and would be happy with just 2 decent lenses, not looking to go pro, just family photos, travel photos, kids’ events, etc.
Comparing Nikon D60 package that comes with 2 lenses from BestBuy vs, Nikon D80, or Canon XSi. Any suggestions?

Best answer:

Answer by Panacea
These reviews will go into much more detail about why, but I think the Canon just doesn’t measure up to the Nikon in this class of camera. Which is a shame because Canon makes the best top of the line non-SLR digital camera (the PowerShot SX10 IS)

How do I pick the right telephoto lens for my Olympus slr camera?

Question by 4 C’S TRAILS: How do I pick the right telephoto lens for my Olympus slr camera?
I want to buy a telephoto lens for my Olympus E-420 camera. I want to do close-ups from a distance. I see ads for 70-300mm, 500-1000mm, etc…….., Mirror lens, reflector lens, fixed F8 . What does all this mean. I am a novice at photography. Any help?

Answer by menuboo
How much distance you want to see a running mouse’s Dust trail at 20 yards ? and have same lense be able to take a picture of 8 people round the X mas tree in a 12×15 room Hmmm lil bit wide range there Most would rather have two light weight lenses rather than a heavy mirrored slow lense You really need to bone up on lense selection plenty of good reads out there But my guess is a 75-300 should start ya out pretty well for outdoor distance shots get a fast 28-80 or so zoomer to take up slack and do good all round pictures of real life situations Good luck
